Hosted Exchange is a very flexible communicationsolution which is designed to help companies to easily access information no matter where they are. You can easily access all mail which is sent and recieved even if you don't have access to your computer via Outlook Web Access.
Hosted Exchange gives you access to these functions:
- Always access your email - Via Outlook, your cellphone or via Outlook Web App. You always have access to the email and all functions.
- Shared calendar - Exchange enables you to have a shared calendar within the company where everyone can see planned meetings. Reduce wasted time by quickly checking if your collegue is available or not when planning a meeting.
- Shared contacts - Exchange gives you the option to share your contacts with everyone within the company which makes sure that all important contacts are available to anyone who needs them.
- Outlook Web App (OWA) - Everything you need is a webbrowser and an internet connection - then you have full access to your email, calendar and address book. The GUI for Outlook Web App is built after Outlook which makes it very easy to use.
- Cell-phone support: Email to your cellphone through so called ActiveSync (also called push mail) simplifies communication with cellphones. You can send and recieve email or book meetings directly from your phone.
- Antivirus and spamfilter - A powerful antivirus and spamfilter checks all mail to secure it before it reaches you.
- Securely stored data - All information is stored on mirrored servers so even if one server goes down you will still be able to access your email, calendar and addressbook without problems.
- Access to deleted emails - Everyone who has accidently deleted an email without backup know how devastating it can be. This is no longer an issue since the mails you delete are stored for up to 4 weeks in an archive you can restore from yourself.
